Otso Fristrom
Managing Partner
Otso Fristrom is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Double River, bringing over a decade of experience managing institutional portfolios across equities, fixed income, alternative strategies, and commodities. Previously, he held leadership roles at Terra Nova Capital Advisors and Primus, overseeing investment strategies in emerging markets, and managed over $3 billion in assets at Cambridge Associates.

Institutional from Day One
Double River was built on institutional infrastructure from the first day of trading, rather than on systems intended to be upgraded later as assets grew. The funds are administered by NAV Consulting, audited annually by PwC, and supported by Morgan Stanley for custody and prime brokerage. Middle-office processing, reconciliation, and investment accounting run through Clearwater Analytics, with legal counsel from Cole-Frieman & Mallon in the United States and Harneys offshore.
The structure is designed around independent oversight. Valuation, custody, accounting, and verification sit with established third parties, allowing Double River to remain focused on portfolio management.
